This chess set is ideal for travelling and if bored you can also use the checker/draughts pieces for a different game.

It is packaged in a box so looks very presentable. It has a snap closed plastic box with plastic hinges that opens up to a 230mm x 230mm board and 28mm black and white squares. The magnetic bases makes sure that pieces stay on the board.The tallest pieces is the King which is 50mm tall . Please note that The draughts pieces are not magnetic but still work fine on the board.
